Over the years, the cobble drive up to the cottage, and the path around it, had become more or less completely covered with weeds. We arranged a clean up to-day (Sunday), and invited anyone who could help to come along. It was no surprise to us that, as always, a large number of our Cruck friends turned up, and in little more than two hours, the drive and path were transformed, back to pristine condition. Now the cottage, and the access are looking perfect. Once again, the community spirit has been outstanding, and it is difficult to adequately express our gratitude. We think it simply demonstrates how much the cottage is loved and valued in our village, and the importance to preserve it for posterity.
