Some light at the end of the tunnel! We are pleased to say that, after the lengthy closure, the Cruck Cottage will open again to visitors from 15th July. Not only won the ‘Celebrations, Gatherings and Community Spirit’ competition in our local Facebook ‘Through a Lens’ page, but was also voted pic of the week. Winning Photo

Our Association Vice Chair, Bill Meadows took this amazing pic last year, in the Cruck garden of a Great Tit feeding its young in a nest in the old water pump. This week it has, not surprisingly, won photo of the week in the local ‘Through the Lens’ Facebook competition. Well done Bill!

Following a presentation on the Cruck Cottage we gave to Dumfries Rotary Club, 18 of their members paid a visit to the cottage recently. Cruck Christmas 2018

Another great night at our Cruck Christmas evening. A good turn out of our friends, who enjoyed live music, carol singing, fresh baked mince pies, mulled wine and fruit punch. Rounded off with a bumper raffle, with the first prize of a giant Christmas hamper. The picture is part of our decorations, skilfully put to-gether More …
